Had a wonderful time this Friday at a work event. These usually turn out to be pretty fun and this time was no exception. Allwest Furnishings had the wonderful idea of setting up three food trucks outside the venue and we got to try whatever we wanted! I had a couple of the mac n' grilled cheese sandwiches (actually had mac n' cheese, bacon and ham grilled between two buttery slices of bread!) and a ginger flavoured ice cream sandwich for dessert. It was useful that the wine was up for grabs too, and plenty of it. I
had a delicious Pinot Noir manufactured by 'Hahn', supposedly pinot noir are the hardest grapes to grow so you can never be sure if you'll get a good one! (snippet of wisdom for you there). Their decor was very whimsical and smelled of the mossy outdoors. They used reclaimed pallets as tables and hung giant LED lanterns from the ceiling.
We spent the evening eating, drinking, bidding on silent auction items, visiting, and sitting on awesome furniture. I hope this will be a yearly event :)
